Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific 2-8-2 Mikado #2596 was built by Alco-Brooks in October of 1920. Specs - K-60 class, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 28x30" cylinders, engine wt of 337,240 lb and tractive effort of 63,467 lb. The loco was retired and sold for scrap in September of 1950. No date, location or photographer was listed for this photo.
