Description:
Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 0-6-0 class G-10 578 at Denver, Colorado on June 11, 1935, photographer unknown, print by Gordon C. Bassett, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 578 was built by the Brooks Locomotive Works (Alco) in January 1905 (c/n 30401) as a 2-6-2, CB&Q class R-4 number 1945. It was rebuilt in December 1929 to an 0-6-0 and sold for scrap in May 1955.
