Description:
Here were Louisiana & North West GP9 4163, GP7 4153 and caboose 215 parked near the railroad's engine house at Gibsland. The two geeps has had been built as Kansas City Southern 163 and 153, and were sold to the L&NW in 1987. The 4163 was in the process of being rebuilt and getting a chopped nose, when the L&NW abandoned this project. The railroad purchased already-rebuilt ATSF GP7 2152 in 1989 and it became L&NW 53.
