| MNCR. Here is an original photo that I took of a Metro-North Commuter Railroad train in Larchmont, New York, on 15 July 1985. Shown here (L to R) are MNCR engines #2031 and another unit whose number is not recorded. #2031 is an FL-9 built by EMD in 1960. It has just departed the Larchmont Station with an eight-car commuter train on its way to Grand Central Terminal in New York City. A portion of Interstate Highway 95 is visible at the left. |
