| This EMD SW1500 unit built in April of 1967 will still wear the all black paint scheme for another year. If I understand the progression of paint schemes, it would receive the black (actually Brunswick Green) with orange lightning stripe in the summer of 1985. Later it will receive another repaint, this time in the OSHA orange with black (initially black looking Brunswick Green) stripe and renumbered to 1512 circa 2004-05 which it still wears today.
