As the Long Island re equipped in the 90s, trading its GP 38s for newer power, it also acquired new cars, rendering the old warriors surplus. Many of these P 72s were still in decent enough shape that they found their way to new homes on tourist roads, everywhere from the NYSW to the Arkansas & Missouri. These three are at Conklin on the D&H. |
