New Jersey transit inherited two open platform observation cars from the Jersey Central, where they had originally run on the Blue Comet. After CNJ service went to Conrail in 1976, one ran on the evening out/morning in Phillipsburg train for several years, til NJT got the idea they wanted them for office cars. Heres the one still running at Hoboken. |
