| C&NW 12517, an open-air platform car and possible former transfer caboose has wooden benches like this one at both ends, as seen in this view. The car was (is?) part of the excursion fleet for the Boone and Scenic Valley Museum, taking passengers out and back on former C&NW trackage near Boone, IA. These passengers are preparing for the second ride, as the B&SV ran (runs?) two trips every Saturday. |
