This GP35 led an interesting life. Built by EMD in 5/64 (serial #29261), it was a 2500hpbrute. Here it is sitting between RDG 3637 & 3638. It was retired in 12/1993. It was sold to Southeast Kansas RR Nov 1, 1994, and then sold to WAMX & converted to WAMX slug 504 which was semi-permanent mated to WAMX PG35 #3520. Date is approximate. Forrest Trittenbach photo |
