A New York bound train from Babylon passes the station at Valley Stream. Montauk Branch trains use the two northerly tracks here, with Far Rockaway, West Hempstead and Long Beach Branch trains using the two south tracks. Note the pedestal signal at the end of the platform-essentially a dwarf on a stick. Valley tower, just beyond the station, controls the action. |
