The working side of #4 the hot extra power for the day.... They kept the presure up during the day in case a resuce up on the mountain was necessary. At night the fire would be allowed to drop a bit but not much. Most boiler damage apparently comes from warm up n cool down. Keep these cycles to a minimum and the life of the boiler is extended.... ! /DL |
