| A faded stencil gives the impression this Warbonnet is still part of the Santa Fe roster. Delivered to Santa Fe as ATSF 643 C44-9W in March 1994 later patched BNSF 643.with a stencil under the road number. Since the merger, BNSF 643 has bounced in and out of storage and was last reported LUGO (laid up good order) as of 02-22-16. An Omaha orange HVAC cabinet is a reminder Santa Fe is no more. |
