UP Pullman heavyweight 12 section-1 drawing room (12S-1DR) sleeper NEWBURYPORT (Lot #6023, Plan #3410A, November 1926), built for assignment to the general service pool, assigned to the IC by January 1937, sold to the UP at the 12/31/1948 Pullman divestiture, repainted to Armour Yellow in July 1952, removed from revenue service in January 1963 and reassigned in December 1963 to MofW ("Roadway") service as #906023, retired in September 1971. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Ektachrome 35mm slide. |
