On a sunny December afternoon, 6-month-old Amtrak SDP40F 615 and ex-B&O E8A 203 were being fueled and watered after having arrived on the PANAMA LIMITED. On the right is the locker building, where engine crews registered going on and off duty. The next two tracks closer to us were ready tracks, the track in the center is used by trains backing into the station (off to the right) from the wye, while in the foreground is the train inspection pit. The outbound track is on the other side of the locker building. |
