Greg Slaton	General	This was the East New Lrleans, LA Amtrak stop, located at Crowder Rd and the tracks(behind the fruit stand). Station cost about $100,000 to build(paid for by World's Fair), designed by the late architect/rail advocate Charles Apffel. Stop was only used for the original GCL, 4/84-1/85.	3/24/2010 10:52:07 AM

The World's Fair train headed west to New Orleans makes a station stop in Gentilly, LA after departing Biloxi, MS. This train would eventually become the east leg of the Sunset Limited.
