ETTX 905122 and NS rack (re-uploaded) |
Description: |
ETTX 905122, carrying an NS rack, was part of an ICE/DME train heading south through Buffalo, IA on 1-21-2012. I have re-uploaded this car due to the system crash which affected this site some time ago. Yes, there's a duplicate picture of this car but it doesn't show up in the roster listings so here we go with another try. Thanks for your patience. |

RI truck trailer 31579 |
Description: |
This is a somewhat fuzzy picture of a Rock Island RR truck trailer. I couldn't find or decipher the trailer number, if any, because the original (color) photo was too fuzzy. The dyes had faded so badly that I decided to go with a black-and-white motif for this one. The trailer was clearly riding a TOFC car (unknown) while part of an eastbound then-N&W freight in South Point, OH, crossing over old US 52 and soon the Ohio River into Kenova, WV. |

Getting harder to find |
Description: |
Its been a few years now since CP took over the DM&E, though their rolling stock, primarily covered hoppers, is still common. such as on this southbound grain move on the KCS, though most of them don't have the DM&E lettering on the sides. They wont last forever, though, now just another fallen flag. |
